I am not sure what has happened to most of our girls group. Names such as LIPS, ELITE are disappearing fast like water evaporating from drenched clothes on a hot sunny day. Recently I heard about Butterfly but they seem not given the attention that they deserve. Could it be that the marketing carried out was not that effective? But for this post, I would like to introduce all-girl pop group from Korea named Kara. Kara comes from the Greek word “chara” (????, lit. “joy”), which the group interpreted to mean “sweet melody”. I don’t really wanna dwell too much about the history of the pop group, but enough to say that 2009 is their comeback year after producing their first single Honey a few years back.

What I can conclude, Korean Girls group can survive and make names internationally due to their fancy dance moves especially those yang “melenggok-lenggok” one which are found lacking in their Malaysian counterparts and they usually consist of around five members with cute faces and killer bodies. My favourite member is Park Gyu Lee.
