Air Gear is classic among Shonen Jump fans! Well, its not much of a classic considering how it came out in 2003 but most American’s aren’t as big fans as the Japanese are. In fact because it tends to flash a lot of boobs and girl’s panties, the American manga companies kind of back away from it. The panty shots aside, this is still a wickedly awesome manga!

The female characters in Air Gear are some of my favorites! I feel like no other manga catches females quite as well as this one does. Or it at least catches all the slutty, short skirt girls! They will step up to fight the bad dudes when called or beat up the good guys for peeking! The male characters are pretty interesting as well. The main character, Ikki, doesn’t grow as much as other characters do in Shonen’s but he was amazing from the beginning! He just needs a Naruto believe it moment every once in a while, then he can do anything. Ikki even keeps a crow in his hair for comedic relief!
