Sadly, since last August five people in British Columbia have died from poisoning linked to ecstasy, a popular but illegal drug. The media's rightfully making a fuss about it. But in the same period, at least twenty people died in alcohol-related vehicle crashes, and many more died from health issues directly traceable to alcohol consumption. Where's the public discussion? Alcohol's the elephant in the room, folks. Figure it out.
